The Kentucky architectural foundation

The Kentucky Architectural Foundation (KAF) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting architectural education and elevating the awareness of architecture throughout the commonwealth. Our mission is to award scholarships and endowments that bolster architectural education and to support architectural causes related to educational programming and public awareness.

The Kentucky Architectural Foundation intends to provide:

Needs-based Scholarships

Needs-based scholarships to exceptional students who show promise towards academic excellence in the study of architecture and the built environment. Awarded scholarships are for Kentucky residents pursuing architecture education in Kentucky. Specialized endowments will also support architectural teaching careers.

Grants for K-12 Icon

Grants for K-12

Grants for K-12 classroom study programs exploring architectural design and the fundamentals of the built environment.

Grants for Exhibits Icon

Grants for Exhibits and Architectural Writings

Grants for exhibits and architectural writings that foster public awareness of architecture and support inclusive causes related to the built environment.

Awards will be distributed at the yearly KAF Celebration Luncheon.
